Welcome to the vast lands of the Republic of Umbra Victus within the world we call Aerth. A land full of proud people, and those of all races and walks of life. Our center of government, the grand building called the Paladium, lies within the capital city of Praetor Umbra, in the Novo Daelirium region of the lands.

We pride ourselves on being a land of light and dark, holding a harmonic balance between the two. We believe that a world could not exist with only one or the other, so we accept the presence of both in our world, though striving to have a harmonic balance within our Republic does not mean that there are never any conflicts, for that is what "striving" means..

The Republic is led by the High Chancellor and her group of trusted High Council members from the Paladium, meeting monthly to discuss changes and problems, and activities for the Republic. Umbra Victus is an active Republic, and very involved in the life of all of its businesses, guilds, clans and organizations.

Umbra Victus is diverse in the fact that we accept guilds, clans and establishments of the following types and offer the following types of roleplaying:
Dice
Non-combatant
Sim

Please see the charters for the rules of each type of roleplay, as some are very strict. We hope this opens the door to much more active roleplaying and fun for you in the UV Gaming environment. We are always open to suggestions from you, as this RPG is for you, the gamer.
